Founded in 1970 in Sweden, MEAB is a Swedish-German consulting and trading company in hydrometallurgy. For over 55 years, we have developed sustainable processes for the recovery of metals from metal-bearing waste, focusing on solvent extraction and innovative process technology.
Our laboratory in Aachen, Germany, is equipped for both research and pilot trials. Here, an experienced team works to develop environmentally friendly and economically sustainable solutions. MEAB also participates in international projects, such as the EU project ScaVanger for the recovery of scandium from pigment manufacturing residues.
